Dentures

Every patient receives almost full reimbursement for dentures through basic health insurance. It is important to have your existing prosthesis checked by the dentist every five years. Your jaw shrinks as you get older, creating space between the jaw and the prosthesis.

To refresh the prosthesis, a layer is applied if necessary (rebasing), ensuring it fits securely again. You can wait while this is being done so that you do not have to go without a prosthesis.

Temporomandibular joint complaints

Muscles and joints that do not function properly can cause discomfort. The most common complaints are painful and fatigued chewing muscles, a limited mouth opening, or radiating pain into the head, neck, and shoulders.

Jaw joint sounds may also occur, such as clicking or grinding sounds when opening or closing the mouth.

Snap-on dentures

The jaw is completely edentulous. One option for replacing all teeth is a bridge anchored in the jaw by a number of implants. Alternatively, a prosthesis is supported by implants and can be removed from the mouth for oral hygiene.

Facings

Oral surgeon

The dentist mainly refers you to the oral surgeon to your to have wisdom teeth extracted. Since early 2019, we have employed a dentist and implantologist who specializes in, among other things, tooth and molar extractions. In this way, we now offer you more treatments under one roof. You no longer always have to travel to an unfamiliar location for a referral.

Invisible braces

The invisible brace treatment is a virtually invisible way to straighten your teeth. The brace is worn for two weeks. You'll always receive an extra pair to take home, which you can change yourself after two weeks. The duration of the treatment depends on your specific needs and will be determined by your practitioner.

Immediate prosthesis

If a denture is made immediately after tooth extraction, it's called an immediate denture. This is almost entirely covered by basic insurance for every patient. Our in-house dental technician can fully customize your denture to your needs. You'll leave the treatment chair with your denture in your mouth immediately after treatment. After a few weeks to two months, a new layer (rebasing) is needed to compensate for the extreme shrinkage of your jaw.

Anxiety dentist

If you are missing one or more teeth, an implant, or artificial root, is an excellent alternative. Most implants resemble a screw and are made of titanium. The implant provides an excellent foundation for a crown, bridge, or denture.

The Dutch Dental Center (TCN) has a fear dentist Specially for anxious children within the team of specialists (pedodontics). Children who have developed a fear of the dentist over the years were previously only able to go to the hospital.

(Anesthesia) Dentist

The anesthesia dentist from TCN specializes in patients who are (extremely) afraid of the dentist. The treatments The procedure is performed under general anesthesia. This means you won't feel anything during the treatment, but your teeth will still receive the care they need. After the procedure, you will be taken to the recovery room in a wheelchair. You can recover there in peace.
