At TCN Dental Practices, we attach great importance to openness and transparency regarding the costs of your treatment.
As of this year, new regulations are in effect for dental treatments. For treatments costing more than € 500 We are required to provide you with a written quotation. You can agree to this via email or, if you prefer, by signing on paper.
This change ensures that you, as a patient, have clear insight into the costs of your treatment in advance. For treatments with costs above € 250 There was already an obligation to provide a quotation based on verbal agreement. The new regulations offer even more clarity in this regard and reduce the risk of misunderstandings.
For some treatments, technical costs are charged. These are costs for work that the dentist outsources to a dental laboratory. The technical costs are listed separately on your bill.

What does your insurance cover?
Your insurer determines in the (supplementary) insurance which costs for dental treatments are reimbursed.
Some insurers use a sum-insured policy. In this case, costs are reimbursed up to a certain maximum amount. Other insurers apply a maximum reimbursement per treatment. If the dentist charges more than your insurer reimburses, you pay the difference yourself. This may also apply to treatments covered under basic care.
Therefore, always carefully check what reimbursement for dental care is stated in your insurance terms and conditions.
Anesthesia treatments
The costs of anesthesia are usually not eligible for reimbursement by the health insurer.
The cost of anesthesia is €370 per hour.
The Sleeping in and out costs amount to €70.
