Tandheelkundig Centrum Nederland is a modern group practice with all specializations under one roof. We are a family business started by Michael Vlaanderen in 1987 when he took over a practice on the Kennemerstraatweg in Alkmaar. At the time, we called it ETP: Aesthetische Tandartsenpraktijk (Aesthetic Dental Practice). In 2007, together with anesthesiologists from the Noordwest Ziekenhuis, he began treating patients. under general anesthesia to treat. The practice has grown enormously since then.

In the years that followed, the branches in Bergen, Castricum, Heerhugowaard, Westzaan, and Alkmaar-Daalmeer were acquired. With these spacious, ultra-modern clinics, we have every capability to meet the patients' wishes. For example, we have anxiety patients the possibility to under nitrous oxide or under general anesthesia to treat. We also have a pediatric dentist and we specialize in endodontics, periodontology and implantology. We work closely with Orthocenter to make the range of care services complete.
Our son Mark works as a back office manager, and our son Bart and our daughter Kim work as dentists at TCN.

During the discussions with TCN about my dental practice in Westzaan I was struck by a brain hemorrhage on July 12, 2016, just as I was about to take over. That was an extremely unfortunate moment for both myself and TCN. With extraordinary effort, TCN managed to organize the rigorous renovation and furnishing, and did so during the holiday months no less. Also is there a Mobile, fully equipped treatment room placed on the former site of Molenaars Kindermeelfabriek. This is to the patients during the renovation to help as best as possible. The result speaks for itself. An ultra-modern practice equipped with excellent equipment and set up in accordance with legal hygiene requirements. Nothing but praise for that.
Now the practice is again 1 1/2 years. I hear good things from my former patients about the current dentist, Joris. Many people approach me about this. They do miss Mieke and me, but are satisfied with the quality provided at the practice. I am Proud that I was able to leave the practice in this condition.
